Bridal Coaching for Perfectionists

Planning a wedding can be AWFUL.

You know that the wedding is just the tiny beginning of a whole life with your partner. The marriage is the important bit. And yet here you are, crying about table linens and where Aunt Pat is supposed to sit.

You were so excited when your partner finally popped the question, so how come you’re filled with dread, stress, and overwhelm over every decision? You love your friends, you love your family, you’re so excited about your in-laws, so why do you get this pit in your stomach whenever anyone expresses an opinion or preference about the music, or the food, or the venues?

Every tiny decision feels overwhelming.

What if your dad doesn't like the song you want for your father/daughter dance? What if your future mother in law feels that buffet dinners are tacky? What if your sister hates her dress?

Wedding planning stress is no joke

You need someone who can help you take a step back and discern when it’s ACTUALLY a big deal.

A life coach who can be your reality check. A professional who has your back, and can help you figure out how to deal with all the anxiety and stress and get back to enjoying the process and feeling excited.

This is where bridal coaching comes in.

With a background in anxiety therapy, over a decade of clinical experience, and as a recovering perfectionist myself, I know how hard it is to enjoy wedding planning when you’re an anxious overachiever / a definite people pleaser / someone who just wants everyone to be happy (impossible!)

I actually kind of hated my wedding. I had a panic attack in the hotel room. I was so worried about what others were feeling. I couldn’t enjoy the big picture because I was so focused on the small details. Your wedding day does not have to go like that.

We’ll go through and help you find the resources you need (I love talking catering options), figure out how to game plan with your partner (hiiiii yes, you do not need to be the only one doing the emotional labor), and create a crucial self-care strategy for some moments of zen amidst the wedding planning and wedding day rush.

Learn the tools you need to enjoy planning your wedding.

Bridal Coaching is like life coaching for anxious brides.

You’ll have access to me, a professional helper who can handle hearing all of your complaints without judgement and leave you with concrete action steps from week to week - to help you get the wedding done, but also to help you take time for yourself and your relationship.

We’ll create a game plan and process your to-do’s, while also taking the time to destress and build mindfulness skills.

You’ll learn to tools you need to maybe actually kind of enjoy the process - and actually enjoy your wedding day, too, to the best of your ability, amidst the stress, overwhelm, and busy-ness that’s gonna be there no matter what.

Pricing

  • 60 minute sessions cost $375 per visit, and we’ll meet virtually.

  • If you need more of my time, you’re in a crunch period, or you want to tack on extra time for mindfulness and relaxation, plan to schedule a 75 minute session.

    75 minute intensives costs $425.

  • Purchase a set of 6, 12, or 18 sessions at a discount. We’ll get them on the calendar together, but they expire one year from purchase.

Planning a wedding is a stressful time in your life. We’ll plan to start with six sessions on a weekly basis, and will go from there in terms of best meeting your emotional needs. Some brides-to-be might transition to monthly coaching, and others may up the frequency as they get closer to the wedding date. Throughout the process, we’ll be tracking outcomes to make sure that your stress is staying on track.

Planning a wedding doesn’t have to suck.

You need help finding your people. You need coping skills, and help with problem-solving, and a reality check. BUT, you definitely don’t have to manage the stress all on your own. We can help you release your overwhelm and enjoy this exciting chapter of your life. You want to look back on this time with happiness, not sadness or anger or guilt. Let’s figure it out, together.
